Dissapointing news but no suprise

Stone Roses star gives art denial
By Ian Youngs Music reporter, BBC News

The original artwork will feature in Squire's latest solo exhibition
Former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire has used one of his own artworks to end speculation that the band are planning a comeback.
Squire, now an artist, has issued a statement superimposed on one of his latest exhibits, made out of steel.

It said: "I have no desire whatsoever to desecrate the grave of seminal Manchester pop group The Stone Roses."
Earlier this week, the Mirror newspaper carried a story claiming the band had agreed to play 21 comeback shows.
The Stone Roses were one of the most revered bands of the late 1980s and '90s, with their debut album still regarded as one of the landmark releases of British guitar music.
Their second album came out in 1994 and Squire left the group in 1996, with the band finally dissolving months later.
Squire went on to form The Seahorses and release two solo albums, but switched his attention to art in 2004.
The denial was added to a photograph of the artwork. The work, from his Luggage series, is called Civilian and made of 18 gauge steel.
Squire will hold a solo art exhibition in Oldham from July to September, before taking it to Austria and Tokyo.

I know it will probably never happen but it's still disappointing to hear it from the horses mouth.
