Only for those over 18.
This was taken at the Sand Stage on Sunday afternoon. Funny if a little twisted.

Tony is a Robot Cop. Not to be confused with a similarlrly named Robo Cop, for legal reasons
One of the highlights of the weekend for me and Mick was Goldie Looking Chain. I have loved them from the beginning with 2004's "Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do".
They are not just funny and right on the money as far as their social commentary goes but I can tell you from personal experiences they know how to rock the fucking crowd. "You Fuckin Knows It".
From Wikipedia: Goldie Lookin Chain is a comedic rap music group based in Newport, South Wales. The group produces humorous, controversial and often explicit songs that satirise hip hop, today's consumer society, the chav culture and life in Newport and South Wales in general.
So please enjoy their little hat tip to me as well as a couple of other gems.

First an explanation.
You won't see Bart in any of the following photos.
Bart had a charity Korfball tournament on Thursday night, the games kicked off at around 6.30. I settled in at home with fish and chips for dinner. I was due to go over to cheer him on at around 7.30. But I got a call on my mobile at 7.15 it was Bart:
T: Hi.
B: Hi, I need you to come and get me.
T: Why?
B: I need to go to the hospital.
I dropped the phone and drove off like Batman out of his cave (I will let Bart explain in his blog what happened before and after that call). All I will say is that we left A&E at around 12.00am. No break but a very bad ankle sprain and a new set of crutches.
Bart made the decision that he would let my brother Mick have his ticket to the Isle Of Wight festival (we needed to leave in around seven hours and we hadn't even packed our bags). Bart didn't think that he would be able to cope with all the walking through excited drunken festival crowds. I know this was a hard decision for him to make but it was made.
So, no Bart in the following IOW posts I am sorry to say. I missed him each time something memorable happened and it happened a lot. So I am sorry that you missed out, babe, but you told me to have a great time, so I did. Thank you!!
PS there is always Bestival at the end of the summer.

See you all next week
We are off to the Isle Of Wight Festival at the crack of dawn tomorrow. First we drive the 120 ish miles to Southampton then a 1 hour ferry ride over to the White island, check in to the hotel freshen up and hopefully have some lunch. Then off to the site to see The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Pendulum and the Ting Tings. That is the lineup just for Friday night.
We don't come back till late on Monday afternoon so there should be news and pictures posted here on Tuesday. As long as I can get some housework done ready for Fiona, Charles and most important Iains arrival on Thursday. We haven't seen them for a couple of years and Iain was just a bump in a belly so we are just itching to meet him, and catch up with his fabulous mum and dad.
We have a very busy couple of weekends to come. Hopefully I will have the time to post some of the exciting things we will be getting up to. I think I am going to need a holiday in a week or two.

Thank you!
I have been collecting data on visitors to my blog for exactly a year today. So I want to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone that has taken the time to visit.
The stats on my first birthday add up like this.
2210 visits by 718 individuals from 420 cities in 70 countries. Not bad for a man that has a hard time writing a birthday card.
I would like to extend a special thank you to the hard core among you that come back day after day, I know where you live, Lexington, London, MK, Melbourne, LA, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol. I don't know who you are but I appreciate your commitment.
